Manufacturing with reprocessed materials
This is not a seasonal campaign. It's a real production line, with specific families and one limitation we don't hide.
What reprocessed material is
At Europlast we work with two types of material: virgin high-density polyethylene and reprocessed polyethylene. Virgin is new material. Reprocessed comes from plastic that was already used, ground down, and fed back into the injection process.
Strength and dimensional specs don't change between one and the other. What does change is the color: with reprocessed material we don't guarantee an exact shade, because it depends on which batch of plastic went into reprocessing that day. It's subject to availability. We say it here, in the body of the page, not in the fine print.
